The Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus Racing team once again left the German Nürburgring raceway with another a 1st place SPX class win and over 6th place finish out of 72 vehicles on the grid during the 6-Hour ADAC qualifying race that took place on Sunday, May 19th 2019. Not only was the event a qualifying for the upcoming 24 hours of Nürburgring race, but also a preliminary test for the SCG team and drivers.
Piloting the red and white striped “SCG 003C” included French driver Felipe Fernandez Laser and Frank Mailleux, along with German driver Thomas Mutsch and Swedish driver Andreas Simonsen. To allow time for each driver, the car made 5 overall pit stops during the 6 hour race, a necessary strategy for the team in preparation.
